Player of the Week: Jones of the Rockies Monday, September 26th , 2022 So far in his young career, Ernie Jones has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Colorado Rockies third baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. On the year Jones has hit .311 with 23 home runs, 105 RBIs and scored 84 runs. |
