Rays Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Monday, September 19th , 2022 With games left to play, the Tampa Bay no longer have anything to play for except for pride and their fans. With their record of 61-87, they have mathematically been eliminated from making the playoffs this year. Tampa Bay Rays manager, Isao Koda, says that pride is more than enough.
