Texas-Atlanta Announce Swap Sunday, July 24th , 2022 Officials for Texas confirmed that they have traded 21-year old minor league LHP Leonel Gómez and 24-year old LF Josh Burkett to the Atlanta Firebirds. In return, the Rangers will receive 31-year old CF Aaron Altherr. This year Burkett has batted at a .219 pace with 7 hits, no home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. So far this season Altherr is batting .248 with 5 home runs. |
