VSL Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, September 21st , 2025 Raúl Cavazos of the Tampa Bay (VSL) Rays had a fine season and has been rewarded with the Venezuelan Rookie League Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2025. The Rays ace fashioned an ERA of 1.94 as he won 8 games, dropped 2, fanned 106 and gave up 7 walks in 92.2 innings of work. He received 5 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
