VSL Best Skipper, Long of Detroit (VSL) Saturday, September 20th , 2025 An outstanding season by the Tigers garnered their manager Nate Long the Venezuelan Rookie League Manager of the Year award for 2025. He led Detroit (VSL) to a 39-14 record this year and a first place finish in the Venezuelan Rookie League. Even so, Long seemed less than thrilled. "I don't give a darn about the award," he growled to reporters, "I just want this team to win championships!" |
