VSL Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 1st , 2025 Over the past week, Manny Sánchez has feasted on Venezuelan Rookie League pitching. Today the Detroit (VSL) Tigers second baseman gobbled up the league's latest Player of the Week Award. Sánchez swung the bat with purpose all week as he collected a .500 average, 15 hits in 30 at-bats, 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
