He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Mariners, 5-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Anderson said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked Seattle (VSL) on a 1-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 16 strikeouts. Anderson has gone 9-1 this season with an ERA of 2.36 and 98 strikeouts in 80 innings pitched.
