Billings Halts Jacobs's Hitting Steak Saturday, August 30th , 2025 Charlie Jacobs of the Great Falls Voyagers came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 5 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the shortstop, Great Falls dropped the game to the Billings Mustangs, 5-2. "It was not a good day today," Jacobs told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." For the season, Jacobs is currently batting .388 with 2 home runs and 17 RBIs. In 32 games he has reached base at a .455 rate and scored 33 runs to date. |
