McClain Guns Downs 15 Rockies Thursday, August 28th , 2025 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Ed McClain, the Ogden Raptors topped the Grand Junction Rockies by a score of 8-0 at Suplizio Field. The 24-year-old McClain brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Rockies manager Vidal Nuno said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." This season, McClain is 8-and-2 with no saves and a 1.92 ERA.
