Hit Streak for Banks Reaches 30 Monday, September 21st , 2026 The number just keeps getting higher. FCL third baseman Randy Banks has now extended his hitting string to 30 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 5 at-bats as the FCL won the game, 9-4, over the FCL Pirates at Pirate City Complex. "Who knows how long it will go on?" FCL manager Kyle Lohse said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Randy Banks grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season, Banks is hitting .410 with 3 home runs, 27 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 68 hits in 166 at-bats and a .444 OBP. |
