FCL Snaps Perkins Streak at 20 Saturday, September 19th , 2026 The 20-game hitting streak of Cam Perkins has come to an end. The FCL Pirates first baseman went 0-for-1 in his team's 6-5 loss to the FCL Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium. "It's not just Cam who came up short," Pirates manager Kyle Lohse said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." So far this season, Perkins is batting .309 with 3 home runs. |
