D'Abernon 5-for-6 Against FCL Thursday, September 17th , 2026 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Ken D'Abernon walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the FCL Rays in a career day at Louisville Grounds, but it was the FCL Yankees who won the ballgame, 19-17. "My swing was really, really there," D'Abernon said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-6 and losing is better than 0-for-6 and losing, right?" Ken D'Abernon walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
