Mets Move on to Round 3 Monday, September 15th , 2025 The Round 3 hopes remain strong for the New York N (GCL) Mets. The team tonight eliminated the Detroit (GCL) Tigers with a 8-6 win, to capture the Round 2 4-1. "We're rolling now," said Kevin Burke, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 3." The standout offensive performance from Burke included a .526 batting average, .625 on-base percentage, 3 home runs, 10 RBI and 8 runs scored. The New York N (GCL) Mets don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Miami (GCL) Marlins - Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays series.
