New York A1 (GCL) Out of Playoff Race Sunday, August 31st , 2025 That they came exceptionally close to qualifying for the playoffs will likely provide little solace for fans of the New York A1 (GCL) Yankees1 -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "I don't expect the fans to be happy with us," said Yankees1 right fielder Bob Gustafson. "We're not happy with ourselves." This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2021. In total, the Yankees1 have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 11-year history. |
