MacCaw Hits in 37 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 The Minnesota (GCL) Twins fell to the Boston (GCL) Red Sox in JetBlue Park, even as 20-year-old second baseman Dave MacCaw upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 37 games. MacCaw finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Twins from dropping the 5-4 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said MacCaw. Dave MacCaw struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. On the season, MacCaw is batting .413 with 6 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 54 games. |
