No Late-Season Magic Coming: St. Louis (GCL) Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 The playoff picture is continuing to come into focus in Gulf Coast Rookie League and this year, the postseason won't include the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals. The team today was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. St. Louis (GCL) last appeared in the postseason in 2016. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 11-year history. |
