MacCaw Ups Hit Streak to 35 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 Dave MacCaw has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 20-year-old Minnesota (GCL) Twins second baseman extended his streak to 35 games, going 1-for-4 as Minnesota (GCL) got the best of the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium, 2-1. "Dave has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Twins manager Darren O'Day said. Dave MacCaw singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 9th. This year, MacCaw is batting .415 with 6 home runs. He has scored 42 runs and driven in 37. |
