25 Games in a Row for MacCaw Monday, August 11th , 2025 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Dave MacCaw did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Hammond Stadium. For the last 25 games in a row, the 20-year-old second baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Minnesota (GCL) Twins beat the Boston (GCL) Red Sox, 16-2. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," MacCaw told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Minnesota (GCL) clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Dave MacCaw struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th and hit a two-run double in the 5th. Looking at his season stats, MacCaw has compiled a .400 batting average and a .430 on-base percentage, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 28 runs. |
