Huffman Blanks St. Louis (GCL), 13-0 Wednesday, August 6th , 2025 In a remarkable performance, New York N (GCL) Mets starter Jim Huffman beat the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals, 13-0, in an impressive 5-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Mets hurler finished with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," St. Louis (GCL) manager Casper Wells said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
