Bluefield-Princeton Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, August 16th , 2025 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Bluefield-Princeton contest at Bowen Field. The Blue Jays Luis Tovar and the Rays Tommy Jackson will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this season, Tovar has gotten 62 hits in 173 at-bats for a .358 batting average with 4 home runs. His stats include 16 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 48 games. Jackson has taken the mound for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 5-1 record with a 1.67 ERA. The Princeton reliever has limited opposing batters to a .243 batting average. |
