Boulay Raps 3 HR Against Pirates Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 Fans are still buzzing after Danville whipped the Bristol Pirates by the score of 14-2 at American Legion Field. Patrick Boulay smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the center fielder bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 5 times. At the postgame press conference, Boulay said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Boulay said. "Three is just... wow." Patrick Boulay hit a solo-shot off Mike McClure in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off José Mota in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Billy Nielsen in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Boulay is batting .223 with 7 home runs. He has scored 25 runs and driven in 21. |
