Injury Update for Johnson City, Hughes Friday, July 18th , 2025 Chad Hughes has to call it a season. The Johnson City Cardinals shortstop learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 07/14/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 months. The team will likely place Hughes on the injured list today. |
