Injury Derails Season for Cameron
Thursday, August 31st , 2023
Oscar Cameron has to call it a season. The Pulaski Yankees reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/26/2023 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a stretched elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months.
The team will likely place Cameron on the injured list today.
Cameron has taken the mound for 14 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 5.01 ERA. The Pulaski reliever has limited opposing batters to a .264 batting average.
