Boyson Slams 5 Hits for Elizabethton Sunday, August 28th , 2022 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Elizabethton's Greg Boyson made it happen today against the Astros. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Twins to a 13-4 win at Pioneer Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Boyson said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Greg Boyson hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Monty Converse in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th. Presently Boyson is batting .341 with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 31 times. View Boxscore |
