Saturday, September 6th , 2025
Doug Winters said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 22 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Everett AquaSox rising star has won the Northwest League Reliever of the Year for 2025.

He captured the award on the strength of his 1.14 ERA over 23.2 innings. He also had 20 saves in 25 relief appearances, 32 strikeouts and only 6 walks.

He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sergio Cruz of the Hillsboro Hops finished second in voting, while Andy Baker of the Boise Hawks finished third.

Player - Team - First Place - Total Points
Doug Winters - Everett AquaSox - 8 - 40
