Blankenbeckler Keeps Hit Streak Alive
Wednesday, August 13th , 2025
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.
Robbie Blankenbeckler did it again, bashing 3 hits in the contest at Nat Bailey Stadium. For the last 20 games in a row, the 23-year-old shortstop has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Vancouver Canadians beat the Everett AquaSox, 5-3.
"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Blankenbeckler told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Vancouver clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Robbie Blankenbeckler singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
Looking at his season stats, Blankenbeckler has compiled a .364 batting average and a .424 on-base percentage, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 49 runs.
