Eugene's McDonald NWL Star of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Joe McDonald was in a class by himself in the Northwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Eugene tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 12 RBIs. This season, McDonald has hit at a .309 clip with 52 RBIs, 14 home runs and 47 runs scored.
