Barnes Slams 5 Hits for Boise Monday, June 30th , 2025 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Greg Barnes walloped 5 hits in 8 at-bats for the Boise Hawks in a career day at Gesa Stadium, but it was the Tri-City Dust Devils who won the ballgame, 12-11. "My swing was really, really there," Barnes said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-8 and losing is better than 0-for-8 and losing, right?" Greg Barnes hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, walked in the 13th, singled in the 15th and singled in the 17th.
