San Antonio Takes Round 1 Sunday, September 13th , 2026 The San Antonio Missions "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Round 1 and eliminating the Corpus Christi Hooks, according to series MVP Galtero Scallini. "This is the big stage, we're off to the Round 2 and looking towards the Round 2," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine." San Antonio won the final game 7-5, to wrap up the series 3-1. Scallini led his team to the series win by putting up a .438 average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 1 runs. The San Antonio Missions don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Springfield Cardinals - Tulsa Drillers series. Tulsa leads the series 2 games to 1.
