Trejo Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Mississippi Thursday, June 11th , 2026 Jackson shortstop Jesús Trejo experienced something against the Mississippi Hammers he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Hammers pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 21 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Generals to a 5-4 victory at The Ballpark at Jackson. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 21-game hitting streak," Trejo joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."
