Álvarez Named SL Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Saturday, October 11th , 2025 Alfredo Álvarez of the Mississippi Firebirds was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 17-3 won-lost mark and 2.08 ERA were big factors in his winning the 2025 Southern League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
