But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Jacksonville Suns reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2025 Southern League Reliever of the Year. He fanned 98 betters, while walking 32 and put up a record of 4-1 to go with his 0.94 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. António Castaneda of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos finished second in voting, while Bob Petersen of the Tennessee Smokies finished third.
