SL's #1 Batter Chosen Wednesday, June 1st , 2022 Montgomery Biscuits fans believe they've got a talented young star in Jorge Ortíz. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in May, as he hit .302 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 22 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the Southern League Batter of the Month. Hitting .298 to date, Ortíz has 7 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 45 games. |
