Reliever Romero July's Pitcher of the Month Monday, August 1st , 2022 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been selected and the International League winner is Syracuse relief specialist, Orlando Romero. For his fine work in July he has been named the league's foremost pitcher. During the month, he excelled with 6 saves in 8 save opportunities, a 1.12 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 16 innings Romero struck out 14 and gave up 8 hits and 6 walks. So far this year Romero has made 44 relief appearances with 27 saves, thrown 48.1 innings and struck out 52 with a 5-6 record. |
