Player of the Week: Herrera of the IronPigs Monday, June 27th , 2022 At the age of 30, Odubel Herrera might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Lehigh Valley center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .462 batting average. For his efforts Herrera collected the International League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 7 games. This season in 66 games, Herrera has hit at a .286 clip with 67 hits, 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
