This promising rookie right fielder for Columbus garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .375 (9-for-24) with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs last week. Newton is hitting .238 this season with 15 home runs, 53 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 59 hits in 248 at-bats. |
