Carter Batters Toledo Big Time Monday, May 16th , 2022 5 times is the charm -- at least for Kes Carter. The Columbus Clippers left fielder tore up the Toledo Mud Hens to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Fifth Third Field today. The offensive onslaught from Carter powered the Clippers to a 10-8 win. "Carter was a tough out today," Toledo manager Yusmeiro Petit said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
