Brit Hicks was a major factor in the 7-4 Miami win over Arizona. The Marlins third baseman went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dominic Leone, who finished 5th in the AL in saves with 33 in 2021, earned the save for Miami. Miami goes to 11-6 with the win.

Early in the game, Hicks had a 3-run home run for Miami. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Marlins on top, 3-0.
