Behind the hitting of Sojuro Iwamoto, the Minnesota Twins stopped the Detroit Tigers, 7-5. Iwamoto was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Twins. Bob McDonald, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The Tigers drop to 7-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.
