Riley, Blue Wahoos Take Dramatic Game 3 for 2-1 Series Lead
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos needed some last-minute heroics to do it, but ultimately emerged one game away from the Round 2. The Blue Wahoos got took the 6-5 win against the Jackson Generals in a walk-off at Five County Stadium. Pensacola third baseman Ben Riley was 2 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Blue Wahoos a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Round 1.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Pensacola. That's when Ed McCarthy hit a 2-run double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Johnny Morgan to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," McCarthy said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Five County Stadium in Pensacola.
