Reyes Lifts Pirates to 12-4 Win
The Pittsburgh Pirates cruised to a win over the New York Yankees, 12-4, at PNC Park. Juan Reyes led the way, going 3-for-5 for Pittsburgh. The loss puts New York at 4-4.

Brad McBride had a big bases-clearing double for the Pirates in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Pittsburgh leading 7-4 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Ibarra and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pirates ahead, 10-4.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Reyes.
