A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Midland RockHounds and Frisco RoughRiders.

Midland pitcher Nacho Romero did his part in helping his team beat the Frisco RoughRiders, 10-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Midland pitcher Derek Brown got the win, upping his record to 2-5. Bernardo Mejía got the loss.

José Domínguez, who is tied for 6th in the TEX in triples with 4, chipped in a run-scoring single for Midland in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Romero said.
