The Frisco RoughRiders defeated the Corpus Christi Hooks, 5-4. Center Fielder Art Rose deserved a large share of the credit. Rose went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the RoughRiders. Robby Smith collected save number 12. This win makes it 9 in a row for Frisco.

Luis López drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Frisco. The 23-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tim Shaw. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"The team is playing at a high level," said RoughRiders manager Mike Breyman.
