In a tight tilt between the Midland RockHounds and the Frisco RoughRiders, Raúl Fonseca was the deciding factor. The Midland right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The RockHounds go to 16-23 with the win.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Eric Brown? The 24-year old center fielder Brown stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Midland up, 3-1. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
"That's baseball," said Frisco manager Mike Breyman. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
