Naturals Take Down Drillers, 5-4
|
The timely hitting of Héctor Marín helped the Northwest Arkansas Naturals down the Tulsa Drillers, 5-4. Marín went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Naturals. Northwest Arkansas reliever António Díaz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Kisho Nakai was saddled with the loss. With the win, the Naturals are 8-23.
The Naturals got a big at-bat from center fielder Jeff O'Duana. For the game, O'Duana went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Northwest Arkansas a 4-2 lead.
"We did enough to win," said Marín.
