Drillers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Arkansas, 6-3
The Tulsa Drillers downed the Arkansas Travelers, 6-3, at ONEOK Field. Héctor Rodríguez led the way, going 2-for-4 for Tulsa. Tulsa reliever Norberto Valdés was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Dave Fleming took the loss for Arkansas. The win for the Drillers lifted their record to 21-9.

Rodríguez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Dave Fleming, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Drillers a 5-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rodríguez.

Rodríguez told the Tulsa Daily: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
