New York left-hander Helmis Rodriguez pitched his team to victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Yankee Stadium. The final score was 4-3. Rodriguez, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Arizona falls to 2-3.
