The Arkansas Travelers defeated the San Antonio Missions by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Eric Scales. Scales was 3-5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Travelers on the day. José Martínez earned his 2nd save, after closing out the game. The Travelers, now 8-1, have hit the ground running this season.

Scales contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Arkansas get the win.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Scales told the Arkansas Citizen.
