Montgomery had no answer for Mobile BayBears hurler Chester Pimentel, who overwhelmed Biscuits hitters as the BayBears coasted to victory, 7-1. Sean Hoffman was credited with the save for Mobile, his 1st of the season. Mobile is now 62-72.

Juan Ventura in the top of the sixth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the BayBears leading 1-0, the Mobile second baseman hit a bases-clearing double.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ventura.
