Eric Stewart put on a hitting clinic in helping Tennessee beat Biloxi, 7-6. Stewart had 1 single and 2 doubles for the Smokies. He also scored 2 runs and knocked in 3. Tennessee now has a record of 66-64 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Tennessee designated hitter Matt Blagdon, facing Max Lee, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Smokies the 7-6 win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Tennessee manager Kevin Riggs.
